In the immediate post-war period, the need to get the country moving again was very strong and all the motorbike manufacturers took advantage of the strong demand to offer various models of all displacements. One of the most popular was the 250 cc, which combined economy and performance in the best possible way. Moto Guzzi was not long in coming, taking up the model called Airone (Heron), first presented in 1939, and modernised to make it more attractive. The famous horizontal single-cylinder saw the adoption of a light alloy cylinder head, the suspension department adopted an upside-down telescopic fork at the front, with an original anchoring plate and a generous drum brake and at the rear a pair of friction shock absorbers that could also be adjusted while riding. The proposed Airone is a Sport model, finely restored by expert hands and in excellent condition.

Nell'immediato dopoguerra l'esigenza di rimettere in moto il Paese era molto forte e tutte le case motociclistiche approfittarono della forte richiesta per proporre vari modelli di tutte le cilindrate. Una delle più apprezzate era la 250 cc, che combinava al meglio economia e prestazioni. Moto Guzzi non si fece attendere, riprendendo il modello denominato Airone (Airone), presentato per la prima volta nel 1939, e modernizzato per renderlo più accattivante. Il famoso monocilindrico orizzontale vede l'adozione di una testata in lega leggera, il reparto sospensioni adotta all'anteriore una forcella telescopica a steli rovesciati, con piastra di ancoraggio originale e generoso freno a tamburo e al posteriore una coppia di ammortizzatori a frizione che potrebbe anche essere regolato durante la guida. L'Airone proposto è un modello Sport, finemente restaurato da mani esperte ed in ottime condizioni.
